Wings for Thoughts, from 1999 to 2007
This work begins with photographs previously taken for other projects. Within this work those spaces where one expresses oneself through the landscape are explored once again.
In an effort to transcend space, new connections take place between elements in the landscape that somehow evoke short, and also long flights. So, it is about establishing symbolic connections between the different realities depicted.
Therefore, through observation, reflection, framing and composition it is possible to meditate on all that surrounds us. To approach the world using photography becomes a more spiritual and ordered way of doing so. We could conclude that life feels lighter when it reaches the mind after passing through the filter of the camera lens.
